With Love from Our House to Yours

Are you ready to back away from media for a while to enjoy gathering with family and friends this next week? Me, too. This is my final post for 2022. But before I go, I'd like to welcome you into our home so my family can say hello!

Tomorrow, December 21, marks the winter solstice - the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year. Mike, ever the optimist, has always loved this day when the world turns and lengthening light begins to push back the darkness.

Many of you know all about long nights. But you also know the Light of the World.

Please step inside for a quick Christmas tour before we come back together next year. I'd love to share a warming cup of coffee and some Christmas desserts with you.

Welcome to Peace Ridge. C'mon in!

Do you see the rainbows dancing on the fireplace? They fill the room when the morning sun is just right. Now all we need is a fire.

The coffeepot is on and Christmas treats are awaiting you on the island

When I have a few moments, I love to curl up with Southern Living!

Meet our bonus daughter Sarah, her husband Dale, and sons Judah and Justus! They live where it's blissfully warm.

And here's the rest of our gang at our annual Rowe Family Camp held each summer! Back row: Son Adam, daughter-in-law Liz, son Jordan, son-in-law Ben. Middle: Maggie, Truman, Libby, Mike, daughter Amber. Front row: Rosemary, Everett, Janie, and Elin.

WISHING YOU A HAPPY AND HOLY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS!

"In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:4-5
